Pressure sores are a common issue among elderly people throughout the world. Pressure sores are also termed as pressure ulcers, bedsores, or pressure injuries. Elderly people are at most risk of pressure sore development due to their limitations in mobility, and other different medical conditions that may make them bedridden in advanced age. Simblija is well equipped with specialized pressure relieving mattresses and other offloading devices to ensure high-quality pressure sore prevention modalities are in place.
We also offer in-house specialist services to educate, prevent, treat, and manage a vast array of wounds. If a resident suffers from a pressure sore or any other skin integrity issue, our goal will be to expedite healing by implementing evidence-based practices in combination with a variety of premium products and devices to improve functionality and quality of life.
We are not only interested in the physical care of the individual but also in their psychological well-being. We understand that coming into a care home is not an easy choice, one often based on need rather than want. Our professionals are here to assist the residents with this transition by being sensitive to their psychological status, looking out for any newcomers, and seeing that they are fine.
